Rice rushed for 204 yards on 29 carries and one touchdown in the 24-10 victory over the Browns. For the season, he has rushed for 926 yards to go along with 11 touchdowns.
This is the first time this season that Rice has won the award. Wide receiver Percy Harvin of the Vikings is the runner-up (8 rec, 156 rec yds, 2 TD). Honorable mention goes to tight end Rob Gronkowski from the Patriots (5 rec, 64 rec yds, 3 TD). Running back LeSean McCoy, who finished ninth, was the highest ranking player from the Eagles (84 rush yds, 49 rec yds, 2 TD).

StatSheet NFL Defensive Player of the Week: Justin Houston, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston was a menace in the backfield, setting a personal season high for sacks in a game and takes home the StatSheet NFL Defensive Player of the Week award. Houston registered seven solo tackles, three sacks, and one forced fumble during the 10-3 win against the Bears. For the year, he has 34 tackles and three sacks.
This is the first time Houston has earned the award this season. The runner-up is linebacker Mario Haggan of the Broncos (12.0 tkls, 7.0 solo, 1.0 int). Steelers linebacker James Harrison receives honorable mention (6.0 tkls, 5.0 solo, 3.0 sacks).

StatSheet NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton put forth an outstanding effort in his last game. Newton went 12 of 21 for 204 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. He also ran for 54 yards and three touchdowns in the 38-19 victory over the Buccaneers. For the year, he has thrown for 3,297 yards in addition to a 60.8% completion rate, 13 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Newton receives the StatSheet NFL Offensive Rookie of the Week award for the second time this season. Redskins running back Roy Helu is the runner-up (100 rush yds, 42 rec yds, 1 TD). Honorable mention goes to Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (6 rec, 87 rec yds, 1 TD).
